The Albright contactor SW80-65/SW80-156 is specifically designed for direct current loads, including motors used in electric vehicles like industrial trucks, as well as telecom and power distribution applications. It is suitable for both interrupted and uninterrupted loads, making it ideal for switching Resistive, Capacitive, and Inductive loads. When it comes to interrupted current, the SW80 is capable of opening and closing on load with frequent switching, which may result in increased contact resistance. On the other hand, for uninterrupted current, where there are no or infrequent load switching requirements, the SW80 maintains a lower contact resistance. The SW80 features single pole double breaking main contacts with silver alloy tips. These tips are weld resistant, hard wearing, and offer excellent conductivity. The contactor has M8 stud main terminals and 6.3mm spade coil connections. It can be mounted using M4 tapped holes or mounting brackets, which can be supplied fitted or as separate items. The mounting can be done horizontally or vertically, with the M8 contact studs pointing up in the vertical position
